Glass Attack at SE1 Bar: Police Hunt Victim
Detectives are on the lookout for a man injured in a glass assault at All Bar One on Shad Thames, SE1. The attack happened around 9.30pm on Thursday, 4 July, but the victim vanished before officers arrived.
Victim Description and Appeal
The victim is described as a tall white man in his 30s or 40s, medium build, and possibly French. Detectives fear he suffered a head injury and want to make sure he’s had medical care.
“I would urge the victim to speak with us so that we can progress this investigation,” said Detective Constable Richard Peregrine from Southwark CID. “It’s important to establish that he is okay.”
Suspect Arrested, Victim Still Missing
A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He has since been released under investigation.
Police urge the victim, or anyone who recognises him, to call 101 quoting reference Cad 8768/4Jul.
