Man Jailed for Kidnap and Sexual Assault in Camden
Selim Ahmed Locked Up for Sex Crimes
Selim Ahmed, 32, from Cromer Street, Camden, has been handed four years behind bars for kidnap plus 18 months for sexual assault. The sentences will run concurrently. He’s also been slapped with a 10-year spot on the sex offenders register and slapped with a decade-long sexual harm prevention order.
Accomplice Gets Suspended Sentence
Levi Croll, 19, from Dundee, found guilty of one count of kidnap, was spared immediate jail time. She received a two-year prison sentence suspended for two years. Alongside, she faces a Restriction of Liberty Order, which includes a curfew and electronic tagging.
Brother Sentenced to 16 Years
Selim’s brother, Nazmul Ahmed, 26, also from Cromer Street, was jailed earlier on 1 May. He got 16 years plus an extended 4-year license period, and will remain on the sex offenders register for life.
