Big Bust in West Malling as Cops Haul in Drugs and Cash
Drugs and Cash Found in Swan Street Raid
Police stormed a property on Swan Street at 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, executing a search warrant that uncovered a stash of drugs. Officers found illegal substances both inside the house and a car parked nearby. Alongside the drugs, more than £3,000 in cash was seized during the operation.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Matthew Beal, 42, from Swan Street, West Malling was arrested at the scene. The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate has taken charge of the investigation. Beal now faces multiple charges including being involved in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply amphetamines, and possession of criminal property.
Court Date Set Following Arrest
Beal appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 3, where he was remanded in custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for January 6, 2021, at Maidstone Crown Court.
