Dad Stabbed to Death in Neasden Horror

Leon Street, 48, was found dead with fatal stab wounds on Neasden Lane North near Hazelwood Court. The delivery driver, who lived nearby with his fiancée, was a devoted father and step-grandfather.

Police were called just after 9.30pm on Monday, 11 January after reports of a stabbing. Despite frantic efforts by paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance crew, Mr Street died at the scene.

Another Stabbing Linked to Murder

Detectives believe the killer is tied to an earlier stabbing just 10 minutes before on the same road near Press Road. A man in his 40s was attacked by a lone suspect and taken to hospital. Fortunately, he has been discharged.

Both victims were targeted by the same suspect, who fled the scenes on foot. Police have so far kept the attacker’s description under wraps.

Detectives Plead for Eyewitnesses

“This is a murder investigation, and I am working with a dedicated team to get answers for Leon’s grieving family,” said Detective Chief Inspector Tom Williams.

“We need anyone who saw a man running around Neasden Lane North between 9pm and 10pm to come forward. Also, anyone spotting suspicious behaviour or someone disposing of clothes recently must speak to us.”

“Local support has been invaluable, but small details could crack this case wide open.”

The police suspect the killer is a local. CCTV inquiries are ongoing, and officers urge anyone with information to call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting reference 6783/11JAN.
