Heartless Thieves Snatch Puppy in Broad Daylight
Maisy, a 10-month-old Cavapoochon, was stolen from her home in Othery, near Bridgwater, between 9.30am and 11am on Wednesday, 24 March. The heart-breaking saga took a darker turn when the little pup was found dead by a passerby on Beer Drove, just off the A372.
Police and RSPCA Launch Hunt for Puppy Killer
PC Claire Allan called the case “extremely upsetting for all pet owners” and promised the police are working closely with the RSPCA to catch those responsible. “House-to-house enquiries have been carried out, and we’re reviewing CCTV from the local area,” she said.

Police are urging anyone who was in the area around the time of the theft and death to come forward. “If you have any information that could help us, please contact us on 101, quoting reference 5221063875,” PC Allan added.
