Young Man Attacked and Robbed in Late-Night Mugging
A man in his 20s was violently assaulted while walking home along Mount Pleasant Road at around 11.35pm on Sunday, 15 August 2021.
Followed and Beaten in Calverley Grounds
The victim was verbally abused by three young men before they chased him into Calverley Grounds. There, they punched and kicked him, then rifled through his pockets, stealing a lighter and tobacco.
Despite his injuries, the victim managed to escape and alert police. He suffered serious facial wounds that required specialist medical treatment.
