High-Speed Drama on M25 Ends in Big Drugs Haul
Police on the Roads Policing Unit spotted a suspicious Ford Focus near Junction 10 at around 8pm on 12th October 2021. The vehicle had no insurance and initially refused to stop, but officers finally pulled it over at the Junction 10 slip road.
Driver Tests Positive and Hidden Drugs Found
The driver and two passengers were subjected to roadside drug tests. The driver came up positive. Officers also found a small stash of suspected Class A drugs in the front of the car, along with a bank card that didn’t belong to any of the men inside.
Huge Cannabis Delivery Dumped Near Cobham Services
Thanks to a tip-off from a sharp-eyed member of the public, police discovered that several large black bags were dumped at the roadside near Cobham Services. A search revealed three massive bags loaded with what is believed to be cannabis.
Croydon Men Busted on Multiple Charges
- The driver, 26, was arrested for driving while disqualified, failing to provide a specimen, uninsured driving, drug driving, possession with intent to supply, theft, and also possession of an offensive weapon after metal knuckle gloves were found on him in custody.
- The two passengers, aged 21 and 25 and both from Croydon, are also in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
