Man Found Dead in Mossley – Police Probe Suspicious Attack
At 10.30am on Sunday, police were called to a Riverside address in Mossley over concerns for a man’s welfare. When officers arrived, they discovered the body of a man in his late 30s.
Targeted Attack Suspected
Detective Superintendent Jamie Daniels, leading the investigation, said, “There are suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of this man, and we believe this may have been a targeted attack.”
He added, “This man was someone’s son, partner, brother, and father. We are determined to bring those responsible to justice.”
Police Appeal for Information
The investigation is ongoing, with extra police patrols in the area through the evening and into tomorrow. Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
