Man Arrested After Attempted Murder in West Bridgford
Just after 10 a.m. on Monday, police rushed to an address on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford following a serious incident.
The victim was taken to hospital and is now in critical but stable condition.
Suspect in Custody – Court Date Set
A 41-year-old man, Laurence Griffiths from Loughborough Road, was arrested at the scene. He is due to appear in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, July 27) charged with attempted murder.
Police Hunting Witnesses and Footage
Detective Inspector Nick Hall of Nottinghamshire Police said: “Our investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remains ongoing.”
He added: “We’ve increased patrols in the area and are following multiple lines of inquiry. We urge anyone who witnessed the event or has CCTV or dash-cam footage to come forward.”
