Man, 62, Dies in Bexleyheath Crash
A 62-year-old man was found injured behind the wheel of a red Citroen C1 on Bedonwell Road at 7.20pm on Saturday, November 12. Despite frantic efforts by emergency crews, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Arrested After Mercedes Abandoned
Shortly after the fatal collision, police found an abandoned Mercedes nearby. On Sunday, November 13, officers arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving uninsured, and failing to stop after the crash.
Heartfelt Tributes Pour In
Local residents have paid tribute to the victim, leaving flowers and handwritten notes on a lamppost in Bedonwell Road. One message read, “Thinking of you and your family. We are thinking about you.” Another said, “Thinking of you from number 53.”
