A blaze tore through the ground floor of a building overnight, forcing a family to flee their flat in the nick of time. Two adults and two kids escaped from a first-floor flat before firefighters arrived. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Firefighters Race to Blaze
The fire brigade was called out at 12:47 a.m. and battled the flames until 2:54 a.m. Crews from Plumstead, East Greenwich, Sidcup, and other nearby fire stations teamed up to tackle the blaze.
Cause of Fire Under Investigation
Authorities are now probing how the fire started. No further details have been released.
