Man Charged After Violent Spree Rocks Belper Town Centre
A 30-year-old man has been hit with multiple charges following a violent incident in Belper town centre on Saturday, September 16.

Police were called to King Street around 10am after reports of an assault. Their investigations uncovered two more alleged assaults, a theft, and criminal damage at nearby businesses. It was a chaotic morning for local law enforcement.
Darren Lakin Faces Serious Charges
Darren Lakin from Bridge Street was arrested and now faces a slew of serious charges, including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, assault, theft, and criminal damage. He has been remanded in custody and is due in court on Monday, September 18.
One victim suffered injuries and was hospitalised but has since been released and is receiving ongoing support from police.
