Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts saw a variety of cases on Tuesday, with several notable convictions and admissions of guilt

Billy Brown, a 40-year-old from Marsala Road in Ladywell, admitted to committing seven thefts from the BP Service Station on Lee High Road. Despite his admissions, Brown failed to appear for his bail hearing, resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

In another case, Liam Warren, 24, of Revelon Road in Brockley, pleaded guilty to fraud by abuse of position. Warren admitted to abusing his role with the intention of gaining £3,339. He has been released on bail and awaits sentencing at a later date.

Fraser Leonard, a 23-year-old from Belfast, was found guilty of stalking a woman in Orpington last December. Leonard’s repeated unwanted calls, messages, letters, and gifts led to his conviction. He has been remanded on bail pending his sentencing.

Lastly, Tomaz Zerebiec, aged 48 and of no fixed abode, faced charges related to a traffic violation. Zerebiec admitted to drink driving on Blackwall Tunnel Approach on July 16, as well as driving after his licence had been revoked. The court has disqualified Zerebiec from driving for 17 months and imposed a fine of £120.

These cases highlight the range of criminal activities managed by the local judiciary and underscore the ongoing efforts to address various forms of criminal behaviour in the community.
