Detectives investigating a report of a sexual assault are today releasing this image in connection.
At around 11.52pm on 20 July, the victim was on board a train heading towards Manchester Victoria when a man boarded the train at Farnworth station and sat opposite her. He began asking her to marry him and putting his feet on her before a bystander intervened.
As the train pulled into Manchester Victoria, the man then sexually assaulted her before running out of the station.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help their investigation.
