Sex Assault Horror on Manchester Train – Police Hunt Suspect
Detectives are hunting a man caught on CCTV after a sexual assault on a train headed for Manchester Victoria.
Man Harasses Woman Before Assaulting Her
At 11.52pm on 20 July, a woman was travelling towards Manchester Victoria when a man boarded at Farnworth station and sat opposite her. He bizarrely asked her to marry him before putting his feet on her. Thankfully, a bystander stepped in.
But as the train pulled into Manchester Victoria, the man sexually assaulted the victim and then fled the station.
Police Release CCTV Image, Plead for Info
Officers believe the man captured in the CCTV image has key information that could crack the case.
