Man Arrested After Firearm Incident at Parsons Green Lane Restaurant

In the early hours of Sunday, 30 March, police were called to Parsons Green Lane, SW6, after receiving reports of a firearm being seen at the scene. The incident occurred at approximately 2.51am.

According to the victims, a man left a restaurant without paying before allegedly threatening them with a firearm while inside a nearby address.

Armed Response Officers swiftly attended the scene and detained a man on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Following further enquiries, the suspect was also arrested for making off without payment and possession of a firearm.

The man remains in custody as investigations continue.

The Metropolitan Police have not yet released the identity of the suspect or provided further details on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
