Armed Man Busted After Dine-and-Dash Threat in Parsons Green
Early on Sunday, March 30, chaos erupted on Parsons Green Lane, SW6, when a man allegedly brandished a firearm after skipping out on his restaurant bill.
Threat With Gun Sparks Police Sting
At around 2.51am, police raced to the scene following reports of a firearm sighting. Victims said the suspect stormed out of a restaurant without paying, then threatened them with a gun inside a nearby address.
Suspect Arrested on Multiple Charges
Armed Response Officers quickly detained the man for possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Further investigations led to charges of making off without payment and possession of a firearm.
The suspect remains in custody as police dig deeper.
