London in shock as Easter weekend stabbing spree leaves one dead and three injured

Four separate stabbings rocked London over Easter weekend, ending in tragedy for one victim. A 45-year-old woman lost her life, while three others suffered injuries in violent attacks stretched across three boroughs. Emergency services rushed to scenes in Romford, Bethnal Green, and Enfield from April 19 to 21.

Romford Double Stabbing: Two Young Men Hurt

On Sunday, April 21, police were called to Coltsfoot Path in Romford just before 12:50pm after reports of a stabbing. A 20-year-old man was found wounded and taken to hospital. Minutes later, a 19-year-old was found stabbed nearby in Lavender Close.

Both victims are expected to recover, with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Police believe the attacks are linked and likely took place inside a property on Briar Road. A man is now in custody, arrested for grievous bodily harm.

Bethnal Green Attack: Man Hospitalised

Friday evening, April 19 saw a 28-year-old man stabbed on Old Bethnal Green Road. Emergency crews acted fast, and the man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police also arrested a 28-year-old on suspicion of conspiracy to supply drugs during the ongoing investigation.

Tragic Death in Enfield: Pamela Munro, 45, Fatally Stabbed at Home

The worst incident unfolded on Saturday, April 19, when Pamela Munro was found with fatal stab wounds at a home on Ayley Croft, Enfield. Despite emergency efforts, Pamela was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for murder and remains in police custody. Detective Chief Inspector Neil John said:

“We continue to support Pamela’s family who are understandably devastated. Our investigation is ongoing, and we urge anyone with dashcam footage from Ayley Croft between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday to come forward.”

Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines added:

“Our thoughts are with Pamela’s family and local residents. Neighbourhood officers will remain in the area to offer support and gather information.”
