Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Longfield Smash on Main Road
A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after crashing with a car on the B260 Main Road in Longfield, Kent, early this morning.
Crash Shuts Down Main Road
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7:15am near the junction with Station Road, between Whitehill Road and the Hartley Road roundabout. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance crews are still on-site as a full forensic collision investigation gets underway.
The B260 is completely closed in both directions, causing major disruption.

Kent Highways confirmed the closure between Whitehill Road and Hartley Road. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes. Traffic is being diverted via the A226 or A20, while locals are advised to delay travel where possible.
Eyewitnesses Report Serious Injuries
Witnesses say the crash involved a car and a motorbike, with the rider sustaining serious injuries. The condition of the car driver has not been disclosed.
