Armed Hammer Thief Strikes in Oxford
Police have launched a hunt for a hammer-wielding burglar who broke into a home in Oxford. The terrifying incident happened around 12.30pm on Monday, September 28, in Carter Close.
The masked offender smashed his way into the property and made off with multiple stolen items. The homeowner, a man in his sixties, was inside at the time but thankfully was not injured.
CCTV Snap Released – Can You ID Him?
Detective Constable Ed Horley of St Aldates Police Station has released CCTV images of the suspect. He said:
“It was a terrifying ordeal for the victim, who has the right to feel safe and secure in his own home. Thankfully, he was unharmed. We’re investigating this incident thoroughly and urgently.”
