Man Guilty of Brutal Attack on Mum and Her Three Young Daughters

Liban Malhamoub, 45, from Livingstone Road, N13, has pleaded guilty to four counts of attempted murder at the Old Bailey. The shocking attack left a mother in her 30s and her three daughters, all under 12, with serious stab wounds.

Violent Assault on Known Victims

The court heard how Malhamoub launched a frenzied and unprovoked attack on his victims, subjecting them to extreme violence and causing devastating injuries. All parties involved were familiar with each other, adding a chilling twist to the brutal incident.

Police and Community Praise Victims’ Bravery

Detective Superintendent Adam Ghaboos, Central East Command Unit, said:

“This is a tragic case where a woman and three children suffered horrendous injuries in an unprovoked attack. Their bravery and resilience over the past 19 months has been incredible.”

“I’d also like to thank local residents and the community for supporting our investigation. This was a difficult inquiry, especially given the victims’ ages. We expect Malhamoub to receive a lengthy sentence and hope this brings some closure to the victims. We will continue to support them in their recovery.”

Attack Caught Police at the Scene

Police were called to Livingstone Road, N13, on Saturday 6 July 2019 after reports of a woman injured in the street. Officers and the London Ambulance Service found the mother and her three daughters suffering serious stab wounds. All were rushed to hospital for extensive treatment.

Malhamoub was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and charged two days later. He is due to be sentenced at the Old Bailey on Friday, 12 March.
