A 10-month-old Cavapoochon puppy named Maisy was stolen from a home in Othery between 9.30am and 11am on Wednesday, 24 March. The heartbreaking case has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Tragically, Maisy was later found dead by a member of the public on Beer Drove, just off the A372.

Police Hunt Puppy’s Killer

PC Claire Allan described the case as “extremely upsetting” for pet owners everywhere. She promised the police are working closely with local teams to track down those responsible.

“House-to-house enquiries have been carried out, and we are reviewing CCTV footage from the area as part of our investigation,” she said.
