Crash on April 5 sparks outrage

Family’s heartbreaking tribute to victim Demi
“Cameron Jones’ actions on April 5 were appalling,” a family spokesperson said. “Today has been another difficult day in our journey. Demi had her whole life ahead of her. She was the kindest, most selfless person you could meet. She had the biggest heart, the most beautiful smile, and a laugh more infectious than any.”
“Demi was her mum’s best friend, her dad’s pride, younger sister to Gemma, Ben, and Jordan, and older sister to Callie and Keisha — but the boss of them all. Her niece and nephews were spoilt rotten and were her world. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Our family is shattered.”
Thanks to police support during dark times
The family extended their gratitude to South Wales Police for their efforts and ongoing support. Special thanks went to family liaison officer PC Saunders for showing respect and compassion during this devastating ordeal.
“We love you, Dems, forever and always,” the family added.
