Three Teenage Girls Charged with Manslaughter as Investigation Progresses

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses following the death of 75-year-old Fredi Rivero, who was found with serious injuries in Islington last week.

Three Teenagers Charged

Three girls, aged 14, 16, and 17, have been charged with manslaughter in connection with Fredi’s death.

CCTV Image Released in Fresh Appeal

As part of their ongoing investigation, officers have now released a CCTV image showing Fredi Rivero’s last known appearance, in the hope that it jogs the memory of anyone who may have seen him that night.

Detective’s Statement

Detective Inspector Devan Taylor from Specialist Crime North said:

“Fredi Rivero was a much-loved father, whose family is devastated by his death. I also know his passing has deeply shocked this tight-knit community.”

“Three girls have been charged in connection with this investigation, and we continue at pace with our inquiries.”

“If you remember seeing Fredi or have any information that could assist, please come forward.”
