Police are hunting witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was shot and seriously hurt in broad daylight at Arnos Grove Enfield.

Shooting Shakes Arnos Grove Community

The Met Police were scrambled to High Road, Arnos Grove at 5:04pm on Thursday, 9 October following reports of a shooting. Paramedics treated the teen at the scene before rushing him to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police Plea for Witnesses and Footage

Detective Sergeant Catherine Dempster, leading the investigation, urged anyone near the scene to come forward.

“Were you in or near High Road around 5pm? Did you hear gunshots or see anything suspicious? CCTV or dashcam footage could be crucial. We need the public’s help to catch those responsible.”
