Hunt On for Man After Shocking Sexual Assault on Liverpool to London Train
British Transport Police are in hot pursuit of a suspect after a disabled passenger was horrifically sexually assaulted on a train from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston.
The vile attack happened just after 9pm on Thursday, 6 November 2025, triggering a fast-moving investigation. Detectives have now released CCTV images of a key man of interest.

The man police want to speak to is described as white, middle-aged, with short light-brown hair. At the time, he wore a distinctive grey and black jacket with a white stripe across the chest, a light grey hoodie underneath and carried a black Nike backpack, the brand name clearly visible on the strap.
Officers are urging anyone who recognises this man to come forward.
