Teen Dies in Horror Smash at Poole Roundabout
A 17-year-old motorcyclist has died after a brutal crash with a lorry at Poole’s busy Safety Drive roundabout. The deadly collision happened just after 5pm on Friday, 28 November 2025, Dorset Police confirmed.
The silver bike collided head-on with a DAF truck. Emergency crews rushed to the scene but the teenage rider from North Dorset was pronounced dead at the scene. Miraculously, the truck driver escaped uninjured. The heartbroken family have been informed, and the coroner is now involved.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
Road closures remain in place as officers investigate the crash scene. Sergeant Richard Stroud from the Roads Policing team said:
“Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the 17-year-old motorcyclist very sadly died. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and loved ones at this heartbreaking time.”
“We are investigating the full circumstances of the crash and urge anyone who saw what happened or who was in the area with dashcam footage to contact us immediately.”
