The dramatic trial of Salisbury man Scott McKenzie, accused of multiple rapes and assaults, has been delayed.
Serious Charges in Two Countries
McKenzie, once of Gainsborough Close, denies two counts of rape, grievous bodily harm (GBH), and actual bodily harm (ABH). He faces allegations of attacking a woman on Catherine Street, Salisbury, in December 2020. He is also charged with assaulting and raping a woman in Prague, Czech Republic, in May 2023.
Trial Postponed Amid Legal Drama
The trial began at Winchester Crown Court on April 20, 2025. But just one day in, proceedings were abruptly adjourned until October 12. McKenzie remains in custody as the courts prepare for the delayed showdown.
