Victim Opens Up About Harrowing Ordeal
“It makes me feel nervous as he left me lying in the road, the thought I could’ve been run over,” the terrified woman said. “He had no thought whatsoever about my safety. I appreciate that nothing did happen, however I cannot help re-play the incident in my mind and what could’ve happened. “I am doing my best to stay strong and I do not want what this man has done to me to beat me.”
Partington initially gave a no-comment interview but later pleaded guilty to robbery. Derby Crown Court slammed him with a four-and-a-half-year jail sentence on Tuesday, 31 March.
