A ruthless cocaine supply ring operating across Warwickshire has been smashed. Police seized tens of thousands of pounds in assets after a multi-year investigation ended in multiple jail terms.

Cash and Cocaine Haul Kickstarts the Bust

The operation cracked open in June 2023 when 45-year-old Manjinder Pama, then of Nuneaton, was caught red-handed with £11,000 in cash and nearly £13,000 worth of cocaine. He was swiftly convicted and locked up for six years.

Detectives Unravel the Drug Web

Police uncovered a sprawling supply chain stretching from Pama’s own crew right up to his supplier. Shockingly, Pama ran the operation from behind bars using coded terms like “building materials” for drugs.

  • Rachel Byrne, 34, from Worcestershire, and Shaun Neal, 39, from Nuneaton, were caught in 2023 with another £13,000 of cocaine during a traffic stop.
  • Further probing led to the arrest of Kamlesh Kaur, 40, of Wolverhampton.
  • Lisa Banks, 39, from Nuneaton, was snapped up by police in October 2023.
  • In November 2024, all were arrested after a thorough evidence review.
  • Upstream supplier Dipak Ram, 41, from Birmingham, was nabbed with £13,000 of cocaine and £10,000 in cash.

Sentences Delivered at Warwick Crown Court

On Friday, April 17, Warwick Crown Court slammed the gang with heavy sentences:

  • Manjinder Pama received an extra 33 months behind bars plus a Serious Crime Prevention Order.
  • Dipak Ram was jailed for 11 years and given a Serious Crime Prevention Order.
  • Rachel Byrne got four years and nine months in prison.
  • Kamlesh Kaur was sentenced to four years in jail.
  • Lisa Banks handed a two-year suspended sentence, rehab, and an electronic curfew.
  • Shaun Neal received an 18-month suspended sentence with unpaid work and rehab requirements.

This crackdown sends a clear message: Warwickshire’s streets won’t be a playground for drug dealers.
