Tragic Crash in Hanley Castle: One Dead, Another Seriously Injured
West Midlands Ambulance Service scrambled to a horror smash on Worcester Road, Hanley Castle, at 5.35am. They rushed an ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, a critical care paramedic, and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene.
Two Men Involved in Horror Collision
A West Midlands Ambulance spokeswoman revealed crews found two men at the crash site. The driver of the first car was in critical condition when emergency staff arrived. Despite their best efforts and immediate advanced life support, sadly, he was confirmed dead at the scene.
Second Driver Seriously Injured and Rescued
The second man, trapped in his vehicle, was pulled out with help from firefighters. He sustained serious injuries and was swiftly treated on-site before being rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for urgent care.
Emergency teams continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
