Knife Horror Shuts Down BP Garage and Road in Abbeywood
Police closed the BP garage and Harrow Manor Way in both directions last night following a brutal knife attack – the second stabbing in just days in Abbeywood, South East London.
Man Staggers to Petrol Station Bleeding
A man in his forties was stabbed nearby and stumbled to the BP petrol station’s night pay window, covered in blood. Shocking bloodstains remain visible at the scene.
Paramedics treated him swiftly before rushing him to hospital. His injuries are reported as serious but not life-threatening.
Massive Police Lockdown as Officers Swarm Scene
Officers from Greenwich sealed off the area with a large police cordon, locking down Harrow Manor Way and the petrol station. One stunned worker said:
“A fight broke out and a man was stabbed. He then staggered over to the window asking me to call an ambulance. He looked in a pretty bad way.”
Police told the worker the station would have to remain closed amid the ongoing investigation.
Violence Continues: Knife Attacks Rock Abbeywood
The Met Police confirmed the attack was reported just before 11.30pm on Tuesday, 21 July. No arrests have been made and inquiries are underway.
This stabbing follows a terrifying incident just hours earlier when two men and a boy, aged 14, 18, and 19, were stabbed during a masked gang raid at the Abbeywood Arms pub. All victims were hospitalised.
