Murder Probe Launched After Man Stabbed in Enfield Linked to Albanian Drug Gang
Early Morning Brawl Ends in Tragedy
Detectives have opened a murder investigation after a man in his 30s was fatally stabbed in Enfield, in what police believe is connected to an Albanian drug gang.
Officers were called to Lytton Avenue at 4:45am on Friday, 17 July, following reports of a fight involving four men. Witnesses say the victim was forced into a vehicle after being seen leaving a suspected weed warehouse.
Victim Dies Outside North Middlesex Hospital
At around 5:01am, officers at North Middlesex Hospital in N18 were alerted to a man arriving with a stab wound in the car park.
Medics tried desperately to save him, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three Men Held as Police Hunt for Answers
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody. Police are working to formally identify the victim and notify his next of kin. A post-mortem will be scheduled soon.
