Five Arrested in Major Reading Drug Raid

Police swooped early this morning (4/3) across multiple Reading locations, smashing a suspected drugs ring.

Warrants Executed Across Reading Hotspots

Raids took place at Grovelands Road, Dee Road, St Georges Road, Goldsmid Road, and the Royal Albion pub on Oxford Road. Officers used Section 8 powers under the PACE Act to search the premises.

Class A Drugs and Weapons Seized

A haul of class A drugs and several weapons were recovered during the operation. Five suspects – four men aged 20, 38, 37, and 41, plus a 36-year-old woman, all from Reading – have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in class A drug supply. They remain in police custody.
