Knife Fight Shocks Wandsworth: Two Seriously Injured
Police on patrol stumbled upon a violent brawl between several men in Garratt Lane, SW18, at just before 5pm on Thursday, 29 October.
Two men were found near Garratt Lane Burial Ground with knife wounds. A third man suffered a head injury. london/" title="London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
One Victim Fights for Life
One of the stabbing victims remains in a life-threatening condition. The other two injuries are serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
Suspects Arrested as Police Clamp Down
Officers have arrested two men on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and affray. The investigation is ongoing, with road closures and a large crime scene blocking off the area.
A Section 60 Order — giving police powers to stop and search without suspicion — was imposed across Wandsworth from 5.58pm.
