Body Found in Shrubbery Sparks Major Investigation
A grim discovery was made on Sunday around 3 p.m. when a body was found in a shrubbery area at Brickfields Country Park.
Detectives suspect the victim is 36-year-old Kiran, although formal identification is still underway. His family has been informed.
Police Launch Intense Probe
DCI Adam Edwards, Head of Major Crime at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, said:
“We are working hard now to understand what happened to Kiran and to be able to provide answers to his family at what is no doubt a very difficult time for them.”
“We will make several inquiries in the coming days to formally identify him, with a post-mortem scheduled for tomorrow.”
“It is critical that we understand how and when Kiran ended up in Brickfields Country Park.”
