Black Audi Torched in Broxburn – Police Hunt Arsonist

Broxburn authorities are on the lookout after a black Audi parked in Curran Crescent was deliberately set on fire in the early hours of Saturday, August 5. The blaze broke out around 00:35 BST, causing massive damage to the Audi and nearby cars.

Firefighters Rush to Scene

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service quickly arrived to douse the flames that had engulfed the vehicle and threatened surrounding vehicles. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fiery attack.

Detective Pleads for Witnesses

“I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with our enquiries to get in touch,” Detective Constable Matt Morran of West Lothian CID said.

The detective stressed the heavy financial blow to car owners and the distress caused to local residents by this reckless act.
