Man Seriously Injured in Hastings Domestic Horror
Sussex Police are hunting for witnesses after a man suffered serious head injuries in a shocking early morning domestic incident in Hastings.
Early Morning Attack Shocks Neighbours
Officers rushed to a property at around 7am on Thursday, July 11, following reports of a violent dispute. A man in his 40s was found with serious head injuries and rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. He remains in a stable condition.
Woman Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges
A 27-year-old woman from Hastings was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. She is currently in custody while police carry out their investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Alasdair Henry said: “We believe this is an isolated incident within a flat where the man and woman are known to each other. We are not looking for anyone else at this stage.”
“We are appealing for anyone who heard or saw anything on Thursday morning to get in contact with us. The investigation surrounding the circumstances continues.”
