Tragedy in Oldswinford: Woman in 70s Killed by Car
A woman in her 70s has died after being hit by a red Vauxhall Corsa on Hagley Road, Oldswinford, West Midlands. The crash happened just before 4pm on Thursday, 17 April.
Fatal Collision on Hagley Road
The elderly victim suffered serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to hospital. Despite desperate efforts by medical teams, she sadly passed away.
West Midlands Police offered their condolences, saying, “Our thoughts are with her loved ones at this terrible time.”
Driver Remains at Scene; Police Seek Witnesses
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. Officers are now hunting for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to help their ongoing investigation.
A police spokesperson said, “We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information to assist our investigation.”
