Knife attack chaos in Toxteth! Police are probing a major disturbance on Granby Street that left two men injured on Tuesday night (March 4).
Stabbing and Facial Injuries
Emergency teams rushed to the scene just before 9pm after reports of a violent brawl.
- A man in his 20s suffered a stab wound to the chest.
- A man in his 40s was left with a cut to his face.
Both victims are now in hospital receiving treatment. Their conditions remain under review.
Police Investigation Underway
Officers are working hard to piece together what happened. Investigations include:
- Interviewing witnesses at the scene.
- Reviewing CCTV footage and conducting forensic examinations.
- Imposing road closures to carry out their work.
Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Mike Fletcher said:
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish what has taken place this evening. We know there was a disturbance around the Granby Street area, resulting in two men being injured and receiving hospital treatment. “We are speaking to people at the scene and reviewing CCTV footage. If you were in the area and saw or heard anything, or have dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell footage, please contact us urgently.”
