Two Cops Stabbed in Bloody Sheerness Standoff
Two police officers were left injured after a violent domestic disturbance on James Street, Sheerness, sparked a major emergency showdown on Wednesday afternoon.
Knife Attack Shocks Kent Police
At around 1pm, Kent Police rushed to a home following reports of threats inside. Officers faced a violent male suspect on arrival, leading to a brutal struggle. Two officers were stabbed during the clash.
A swift cordon sealed off the property as armed units and emergency crews moved in. The attacker was arrested on the spot and is now in custody while police investigate.
The injured officers were rushed to hospital. Thankfully, their wounds aren’t life-threatening, and they’re expected to recover fully.

Residents watched in shock as flashing police lights flooded James Street throughout the afternoon and evening.
