Burger King Set to Flame-Grill Isle of Wight with First Ever Branch

Isle of Wight Could Get Its First Burger King

Fast food giant Burger King is eyeing the Isle of Wight for its first-ever outlet. The chain has formally lodged planning applications to open a burger joint complete with a drive-thru at Coppins Bridge retail park.

New Jobs and Big Changes on the Cards

If the Isle of Wight Council gives the green light, the new Burger King could create up to 56 jobs, boosting the local economy. The site, home to Cineworld, Pizza Hut, and KFC, has seen recent shop closures including Maplin and Office Outlet.

More Coming: 24-Hour Gym, Parking Shake-Up

The plan also includes a proposal by The 1 group for a 24-hour gym at the same site. Expect changes to parking and access to accommodate new visitors and keep the traffic flowing smoothly.
