Swindon Bladed Article Arrest Sparks Partial Closure Order
Swindon Man Bailed Over Knife Charge
Kieran Evers, 27, from Ferndale Road, Swindon, was caught with a bladed article in public. Officers searched him on Sunday, July 16, in Affleck Close, Toothill, Swindon. He’s now been charged and bailed to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on August 9.
Anti-Social Behaviour Sparks Court Action
Following the arrest, the Local Policing Tasking Team secured a three-month partial closure order on an Affleck Close address. This order, granted at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on July 17, restricts access – only the tenant and one other person can be at the property.
Police and Council Crack Down on Nuisance
PC Hesketh of the Local Policing Tasking Team said: “This partial closure order will allow us to work in partnership with Swindon Borough Council housing department with the aim of reducing anti-social behaviour and the likelihood of further nuisance and disorder coming from that address.”
