Man Jailed for Life Over Brutal Murder of Lauren Wilson
Craig Walker, 41, was found guilty of murder on Monday, 3 April 2023, at the High Court in Glasgow. He was handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 21 years behind bars.

Lauren Wilson tragically died on Wednesday, 26 May 2021, after being savagely attacked by Walker at a property in Cardon Square. The violent assault shocked the local community.

“This was a brutal attack that has left Lauren’s family absolutely devastated and our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time,” said Detective Inspector Fraser Spence, senior investigating officer.
