Police Praise Guilty Plea, Family Spared Court Trauma

Charged on 4 April, Minards faced murder and possession of a knife in public charges. Detective Inspector Sally Spencer from Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit said:

“This was a tragic case where a man stabbed and killed a woman he knew. It was a violent attack that ended Emma’s life despite emergency efforts.

“I am pleased Minards has pleaded guilty at this early stage, sparing her family the ordeal of a trial. I hope it helps them begin to move on.”

Minards will be sentenced on 23 September. The community awaits justice in this grim case.
