Portsmouth erupts as homeless man is attacked – but innocent woman caught in the crossfire!
Wrong Nicola Targeted in Social Media Storm
Fury boiled over in Portsmouth after a homeless man was savagely attacked in the city centre at the weekend. Social media lit up, but innocent Nicola King found herself unfairly in the firing line. She shares the same name as one of the accused, sparking a wave of mistaken identity abuse.
“My friend Nicola King shares the same name and town as the vile woman involved,” one follower explained. “She’s been hammered with hate messages from people who think it’s her. Nicola wants everyone to stop sending abuse to the wrong person!”
Real Culprits Named and Charged
The guilty parties are Nicola King, 22, from Mill Road, Waterlooville (who uses the name Nicola James on Facebook), and Jerely Evans, 25, of Lockerley Road, Havant (also known online as Gerii Lea Radford). Both face charges of arson and criminal damage after the brutal attack on Commercial Road.
Court Date Set for April 25
The pair are set to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 25th April. The city watches on as justice takes its course, hoping the case puts a stop to violence against the vulnerable once and for all.
