Jailed Criminal, Lewis Pinches, Escapes Open Prison

Lewis Pinches, 23, made a daring escape from an open prison at 8.45pm on April 3. The thief, serving six years for robbery and causing grievous bodily harm, remains on the run.

Details on the Fugitive

Pinches stands 5ft 9in tall, slim build, with distinctive brown-blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He also goes by the names Lewis Birch and Lewis Bridges.

His known ties stretch across the West Midlands — including Walsall, Brownhills, and Blakenhall — and reach as far as Porthcawl in South Wales.

What He Was Wearing

When last seen, Pinches sported a dark jacket, dark sweatshirt, dark jogging bottoms, black trainers, and a baseball cap patterned in dark blue and grey with a small logo on the back.

Public Warning

Derbyshire Police warn the public: Do not approach Pinches. Instead, ring the police immediately with reference number 1190 of 3 April if you spot him.
