Police hunt witnesses after elderly cyclist smashed off her bike in Malmesbury crash
A woman in her 70s was seriously injured after being knocked off her bike by a speeding silver saloon car on Pond Lane, Malmesbury, at around 1pm on October 2.
Senior cyclist left with serious leg injury
The victim suffered a severe leg injury and spent 12 days in hospital. She remains in pain following the collision.
Police urge witnesses to come forward
“This is a very concerning incident,” said PC Charles Joseph. “The woman was left injured by the roadside and helped by another motorist. We’ve reviewed CCTV footage and now need the public’s help to piece together exactly what happened.”
