Five Suspected Burglars Charged After String of Kent Break-Ins
Five men have been charged following a crime spree that saw 30 burglaries across Kent. From 6 August to 5 November 2019, homes in New Ash Green, Sevenoaks, Medway, Sittingbourne, and Ashford were targeted.
Car Keys Stolen, Vehicles Taken
The burglars didn’t just break and enter—they stole car keys and made off with vehicles from outside victims’ homes. Ricky Webb, Danny Webb, and Oliver Cook were arrested on 17 January 2020 in connection with the crimes.
Details of the Charges
- Ricky Webb, 23, of Dryland Avenue, Orpington, faces charges including robbery, aggravated burglary, and two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary.
- Danny Webb, 20, also from Dryland Avenue, and Oliver Cook, 21, of Church Hill Wood, Orpington, are charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
- Alfie Johnson, 22, of Leysdown Road, Sheerness, and Michael Johnson, 21, of Warden Road, Eastchurch, were previously charged over related burglary offences.
All five suspects are currently in custody awaiting court proceedings.
Next Hearing Scheduled
The next hearing will take place at Maidstone Crown Court on 17 March.
