- Grey hair, with a grey moustache and beard (though he may have shaved)
- Sometimes wears dark-rimmed glasses and a flat cap
- Usually seen in casual clothes
- Tattoos: “Mum and Dad” with a Swallow on right forearm, horse’s head on left forearm
- Prominent large scar running down the middle of his chest
