Young Man Stabbed to Death in NW11
Muhamoud Mohamed Mahdi, 28, from Finchley Road, NW11, was fatally stabbed on Watling Avenue last Friday, 18 February. A post-mortem at Northwick Park Hospital confirmed he died from chest stab wounds.
Two Teens Charged With Murder
Just two days later, on Sunday 20 February, police charged Christian Adom Kuta-Danku, 18, of Rayners Lane, HA2, and a 16-year-old boy from Harrow with murder. Both are set to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 21 February.
A third man, 19, was also arrested but has been bailed until late March while enquiries continue.
Investigation Ongoing as Family Mourns
“Muhamoud lived with his mother in Barnet. She will be supported by specialist Met officers throughout the unimaginably difficult days and months ahead,” said Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, who is leading the probe.
